With the Sixth anniversary celebrations of MSN India under way, MSN India has announced the launch of five new portals, MSN Hindi, MSN Tamil, MSN Telugu, MSN Kannada and MSN Malayalam apart from unveiling Windows Live Messenger in Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada and Malayalam. MSN India also unveiled the new MSN India Homepage and Windows Live Domains. Prominent amongst these announcements is the launch of its new language portal homepage on http://in.msn.com along with launching Windows Live Messenger in the Hindi and the other regional languages (Tamil, Telugu, Kannada and Malayalam). This new introduction enables MSN users to now chat in their regional language with their friends and family on MSN Messenger. The MSN Hindi and Regional language portals was launched by renowned singer Shubha Mudgal.The Hindi and other regional languages (Tamil, Telugu, Kannada and Malayalam) feature on Windows Live Messenger is extremely user friendly, and would provide the same user experience. The Windows Live Messenger platform would be the same as before but the additional feature available is the facility to use Hindi other regional languages (Tamil, Telugu, Kannada and Malayalam) by users on Windows Live Messenger. For this, there are multiple keyboards options available with the language packages at: http://www.bhashaindia.com with Windows Live Spaces, which allows weblogging, sharing pictures and music.

The new MSN Hindi other regional languages (MSN Tamil, MSN Telugu, MSN Kannada and MSN Malayalam) feature of Windows Live Messenger is also integrated with the MSN portal and has plenty of content which is of desi flavor such as Movies featuring film previews and interviews with the stars. The MSN Language portals (MSN Hindi, MSN Tamil, MSN Telugu, MSN Kannada and MSN Malayalam) also has the latest news with a special focus on local news, Infotech, Astrology, Sports, Recipes and Humour.

The new MSN India homepage is a reflection of MSN’s creativity and has all the features required to enchant the users, such as better graphics, the desktop TV portrays images of better quality, there is more value added content in the form of language editions and additional channels and to top it all off there are intelligently integrated advertisements as well.
To add to the spirit of celebration MSN India also announced the launch of the Windows Live Domains. Now users can have their own domain names such as yourname@yourdomain.in and create an unlimited amount of accounts in the respected domain. Everyone on the users domain will get a hotmail account and these can be upgraded to Windows Live Mail Beta for free. Email addresses on the domain can be used to access the services on the Windows Live network such as instant messenger and spaces.
